View the sights and hear the sounds as the Carolina Rollergirls host the rival Minnesota team for an inter-league bout on Jan. 29, 2006, at the Skate Ranch in Raleigh. The Rollergirls explain why they love the sport, and why it has become a popular event for spectators.
The Minnesota Rollergirls defeated Carolina when the teams first met in November of 2005. However, the Carolina team managed to pull out a 136-126 victory in the rematch on their home rink in front of a sold-out crowd of over 750 supporters.
