Fathom Memberships

Fathom Productions is proud to announce the inauguration of it's "Fathom Membership" program.

Registration in the program is free, easy and saves you money, so there really is not a good reason you shouldn't do it!

All you have to do is register for a forum account at http://www.ncfathom.com/forum. As a registered user, simply maintain a a certain number of posts (Usually the equvalent of 5 per week or less) in between Fathom parties. Then when you go to the next party, or purchase tickets online, you will receive a discount. It is that easy. So register now, join the discussions and save some moolah!

Fine print:

• This program is designed to facilitate actual discussion of events and other topics. Repeat posts or meaningless posts designed to simply rack-up post counts will not be counted toward your total.
• Membership discounts will be calculated approximately 24 hours prior to a party. So if a party is held on a Saturday evening, membership eligibility will be determined on Friday evening. Posts made on Saturday morning and afternoon would not count toward that evening's party, but may be counted towards the next party.
• Discount amount will vary depending on party. More expensive door prices will usually mean a larger discount. So, for example, you may receive a $3 discount for a party where admission is regularly $15. However, if the admission is only $5, you may only receive a $1 discount. Discount amounts will be announced per party.
• Deleted posts will not count  toward any membership totals.
• We reserve the right to limit the number of discounts offered per event.
• We reserve the right to cancel this program at any time.
• We reserve the right to alter the stipulations on this program at any time.

how will you know who to give the discounts to?  will there be a guest list with our real name, or what?  Do we have to do anything, or just show up?

Hey,

As long as you supplied your real name when you registered in the appropriate form area, all you need to do is show up and mention you are a member. They will have a list there.

I may try and e-mail all eligible members beforehand, but that is not automated yet. I plan to move the forum over to a php based version sometime soon, and it may make it easier to automate that.

Yeah, you will need an ID ...everyone needs an ID to get in to the Lincoln anyway :)

When you registered for the forum, there was a place for your First and Last name on the registration form. That is what we will print out for our Fathom Members list. So when you go to the door, you can say, "I am a Fathom Member". They wil then check your name against the list and let you in for the discounted rate.

That will work for the Membership ...The Lincoln wouldn't be able to let you drink, and they will have to collect the $2 venue fee, if that was all you have and you are over 21 (Though I get the impression you are not)
